This is my third video in the playlist 'Make it with Beads' in my YouTube channel. It was long term wish to make a heart with beads. My mom had made so many cute little things in beads but not a heart. Initially I did not have an idea where to start and how to proceed a heart with beads. I was trying to make a heart from very smaller size to a bigger version with different beaded forms. Finally, I succeeded with the right size of heart with usual 4 beaded structure. This heart made with beads can be kept as a showpiece. I have converted it into a key chain by adding beaded chain. This would be a perfect gift for your loved ones which they can carry with always a a key chain. Here we go to check out the method to make a heart key chain with beads.

Materials needed:

• Beads               : 2 mm (Pink and White coloured beads)
• String / Wire    : 0.3 mm / 0.4 mm
• Needle             : Very small (suitable for the string and the beads)
• Scissors           

Method:

• I am starting to make the heart from the central column vertically.
• Take desired length of the string and insert a needle at one end of the string and insert a needle at the other end of the string.
• I am making the heart entirely with pink color beads entirely.
• Take 4 beads in the string. Insert the needle back into the first bead in the opposite direction. This forms the first 4 beaded structure.

• Next we have to extend the structure vertically. So, bring the string to the top bead of the 4 beaded structure.
• Take 3 beads in the string and insert the needle back into the bead of the previous 4 beaded structure.
• This forms the second 4 beaded structure of the column.
• Repeat the same steps until we make six sets of 4 beaded structure.
• Now, begin the second column of the heart. This also has six sets of 4 beaded structure.
• But, the six sets are made at a higher level to make the heart shape.

• To start the second column, bring the string to the side bead.
• Take 3 beads in the string and insert the needle back into the old 4 beaded structure.
• This forms the first 4 beaded structure of the second column.
• The second 4 beaded structure should be made above the first one made.
• Bring the string to the top bead of the first 4 beaded structure.
• Take 3 beads in the string and insert the needle back into the top bead. This forms the second 4 beaded structure of the second column.
• The third 4 boded structure is made below the first one made. This is formed by taking only 2 beads in the string while other two beads are got from the previous 4 beaded structures.
• Repeat the same steps until there are six sets of 4 beaded structure in the second column.

• Third column begins from the bottom but leaving one 4 beaded structure from the second column.
• Take 3 beads in the string and insert the needle back into the second 4 beaded structure at the bottom of the second column.
• This forms the first 4 beaded structure of the third column.
• Continue making the column by taking 2 beads in the string and repeat the steps until we make five sets of 4 beaded structure in the third column.
• Now let us move onto the fourth column which has only three sets of 4 beaded structure. 

• The three sets should be made in between in the five sets of 4 beaded structures in the third column.
• This also is started with 3 beads in the string and inserting back into the same previous bead.
• Then followed by 2 beads in the string for the next two sets of 4 beaded structures.
• Now, one half of the heart is done.
• Making another half of the heart is a similar process.
• Just follow the same steps as before for the previous half of the heart.
• The central first column is already done.
• We start from the second column in the other side which has six sets of 4 beaded structure just one set above the first column.
• Then the third column has five sets of 4 beaded structures which is also one set less in the bottom of the heart.
• Finally, the fourth column has only three sets of 4 beaded structures which are made in between   the previous five sets.
• There is one final step to give the heart a perfect shape.

• When you look at the top of the heart on both the sides, there will be a 3 beaded structure formed between the second and third column.
• Just add one bead at the top to make this 3 beaded structure into a 4 beaded structure.
• This gives a perfect heart shape.
• Place both the hearts one on the other exactly.
• It is time ti join both the hearts together and stuff it up.
• Joining steps are similar as before to make 4 beaded structure.
• Two beads are got from the two hearts on top and bottom.
• Two new beads are added at each sides to make the 4 beaded structure.
• I have used white color beads to join both the hearts because I thought white beads would look pretty between pink beads.
• When the joining process is halfway done, stuff the heart with cotton or any other stuffing materials of your choice.
• Once the heart is fully stuffed, complete the joining process of entire heart.
• Heart can be placed as such in the showcase.
• I have added a chain made of 4 beaded structures alternating pink and white beads from the center of the heart and at the end added a key chain ring.
• Beautiful, cute heart key chain is made with beads 😊
